Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor 

Location: : Port Talbot, Wales and Glasgow, Scotland
Position Type: Permanent

The Role

We are seeking two full-time permanent Asbestos Analyst/Surveyors to join our teams, one  in South Wales and one in Glasgow. These positions offer an excellent opportunity for career advancement in a challenging industrial setting. The successful candidates will join close-knit teams collaborating with major industrial clients operating at COMAH sites in South and West Wales and a range of sites mostly located in the central belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting building surveys and bulk sampling

  • Performing asbestos air monitoring and 4-stage clearances

  • Producing accurate reports in standard formats

  • Cultivating and enhancing relationships with clients

  • Adhering to the company's Quality Management Systems and maintaining UKAS accreditation  within small teams of Asbestos Site Analysts and Surveyors

  • Primarily working on large complex industrial sites also domestic and commercial properties with a willingness to travel and work away from home to serve local and national clients in both the public and private sectors.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills

  • Proficiency in survey data collection software

  • CoCA/CCP qualification (desirable)

  • Minimum of 12 months of related work within a UKAS accredited organisation

  • Report writing experience

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and representatives at all levels

  • Proven expertise in core areas, or a strong desire to gain such experience

  • Flexible attitude with a willingness to travel and stay away from home as required

  • A full driving license is essential
